Arc Bench aims to stimulate interaction through both tactile and social engagement. A dialogue and sense of dynamism is defined between the shifting forms, encouraging physical engagement. The design adapts and changes according to the various social contexts and environments.

The project was self-initiated and completed in early 2021. The project objective was to investigate ways in which furniture can entice interaction through both tactile and social engagement. Opening up a conversation as to how people interact with their immediate surroundings, and also how they interact with each other.

Through a simple nesting of forms, Arc Bench inherently illustrates the possibility of motion, stimulating the notion of adaptability and engagement to the various users.
