Hemera Accorsi is a limited edition of 3 pieces made of Accorsi Honed Marble and silver plated internal and developed in collaboration with Australian design brand New Volumes.
The Hemera Lamp finds its power in the simplicity and purity of its shapes, referencing the brutalist architecture of 60 years ago. The two solid circular volumes intersect with no overtly visible light source, creating a striking desktop monolith and a lighting device of refined functionality.
The distinct colour of the Hemera Accorsi occurs from the serpentine minerals, rich in magnesium and water that are intrinsic to the material. Piece of the collection is made from a slap of unique Accorsi stone sourced from Italy. Featuring machined silver plated components to unite the marble elements, the lamp consists of four separate elements, each connected by the marble’s own weight.
